On late October, GRAVI-2 was exhibited during the 2016 annual meeting of the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR) in Cleveland, Ohio. François BIZET was there to present during Plant session #3 some of the first results obtained in 2016. Focus was made into measurements of statolith displacement on root longitudinal sections (see “The analysis of the GRAVI-2 project“). In particular, we showed the strong statoliths clustering in microgravity and the unexpected low displacement observed after several hours at low gravity level.
We greatly thank the organization committee and people that were present for their warm welcome. More information, including webcasts (sadly not for Plant session #3) and abstracts can be found on the official website.
